DESCRIPTION
An unusual and well carved mahogany applique in the form of two fighting winged beasts, dating from the late 19th century.    
 
DIMENSIONS – L:  36cm H:  13cm
 
CONDITION
There are old repairs to the feet of both animals (probably from when it was removed from the piece of furniture) and the tips of two wings and an ear are missing.  Otherwise it is in very good condition and it stands on its own - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
