DESCRIPTION
A polychrome didactic (designed or intended to teach) plaster model of a mushroom on ebonised pine base by German model maker Fritz Kolbow (1878-1946) – brass name plate to front of base.  This hand crafted model was made in Berlin, Germany in the very early 20th century. 
 
DIMENSIONS – H:  11.5cm, base 12.5cm square.
 
CONDITION
The plaster mushrooms are in very good condition with no chips or cracks.  The label has some loss and there are three drilled holes in the base which are not original.  There is also a chip to the base on one of the back corners - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
