DESCRIPTION

Former property from The Manor House, Stanford in the Vale, this stunning and beautifully patinated bronze is French and dates from the 19th century.  After Pierre-Jules Mene (1810-1879) who was a noted French animalier and is considered one of the pioneers of animal sculpture in the nineteenth century.  A real quality and decorative object with excellent provenance.
