DESCRIPTION
In gilt lacquer and with ivory legs this lovely, unmarked piece was probably made in the middle of the 19th century.  With its adjustable focus it could have been used to view maps and documents or insect and plant specimens etc in the field.

CONDITION
There is some wear to the lacquer but both lenses are in very good condition and the adjustment thread is moving freely.  Please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
