DESCRIPTION
 
A beautifully hand carved continental boxwood figure of the Virgin Mary – 19th century.
This piece is a copy of the Nuremberg Madonna; a limewood carving by an unknown master dating from around 1550.
 
DIMENSIONS – H:  26cm.
 
CONDITION
She has a few chips and marks but is otherwise in good condition with lovely patina - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
